New fish and chip shop set to open in part of West Bergholt shop
A NEW chippy could open inside part of a village shop is plans are approved.
Mr Anabarasan has applied for planning permission from Colchester Council to open the new fish and chip takeaway inside part of Ash's Convenience Express, in Colchester Road, West Bergholt.
The application is requesting permission to change the shopfront of the premises as well as install a new extractor hood, fan and external cold rooms.

It states the new takeaway could be open between 11am and 11pm Monday to Saturday and 11am to 6pm on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
Colchester Council will have the final say on the plans.
