WITH the coronavirus pandemic profoundly impacting people's mental health, a wellbeing consultancy will be delivering online workshops throughout 'Stress Awareness Month' this April.

Zoe Flint launched Work.Live.Thrive Wellbeing Consultancy in Colchester in 2017 to provide emotional support to businesses and individuals.

The 42-year-old previously had a career as senior manager in the third sector, but attempted to hide her battle with mental health fearing the repercussions.

Eventually keeping up the facade became unmanageable and Zoe spent the next few years relentlessly researching the latest evidence of what causes mental health issues and what works to enable us to thrive.

Desperate to share with others what she had discovered, Zoe established a wellbeing consultancy and set about her journey to transform both the workplace and the individual.

The company has now worked with a range of organisations including the NHS, the Chartered Insurance Institute, Essex University and MS-UK and run courses on mindfulness, happiness and mental health.

Zoe, who lives in Colchester, said: “I spent 20 years battling severe anxiety and depression, so have a deep understanding of the impact of mental health and wellbeing issues on the individual, the family, the workplace and the community as a whole.

"I also know what works to help individuals recover and businesses to thrive, and so I am thrilled to be in a position to share this knowledge in a way that is accessible to everyone.”

“Delivering training and services in wellbeing and mental health is our bread and butter.

"Given the enormous pressure on services delivered by the local authority and voluntary organisations, we are delighted to be able to open up our workshops to the general public and local businesses for free, and very much hope that they will provide useful, cutting edge tools that will make a difference in our community.”

Zoe is running free workshops throughout April which include writing a wellbeing strategy and happiness for working mums.

They will be delivered by Zoe and there will also be a Q and A during the sessions.

Workshops will be delivered live via Zoom each Wednesday in April from 10am to11am.
