POLICE have arrested a man in Halstead on suspicion of sexual communication with a child.
Officers with Essex Police arrested the 52-year-old man on Thursday, March 25.
The man, from Halstead, was arrested in the Kings Road area.
Police say he was arrested on suspicion of sexual communication with a child and inciting a girl to engage in sexual activity.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "A man has been arrested in Braintree on suspicion of sexual communication with a child and inciting a girl to engage in sexual activity.
"The 52 year-old from Halstead was arrested in the Kings Road area on March 25 following a third party report.
"He has since been released on bail until 14 April."
