We're heading out on the town for another slice of nostalgia, reflecting on your favourite pubs and clubs from years gone by.
We asked members of our We grew up in Colchester and Tendring Facebook group for their best memories and top 'haunts' included the Hippodrome, the Tartan House nightclub, in Frating, The Aqua Vista Club, in St Osyth, and the Copford Windmill nightclub.
Today we can bring you another selection based on more readers' Facebook comments.
Did you ever go to any of these places and where was your favourite place for a night out here in north Essex?
One recurring name was Oscars, the former nightclub on Clacton Pier.

Britpop giants Blur once played a gig at the venue in 1995.
Michael Wiseman said: "The only club worth talking about is the late, great Oscars, in Clacton."
Andy Sage backed Michael up and said: "I loved Friday nights there. There was always a top rave DJ in the house back in the 90s."
Andrew Tan Waldock said: "True, although Kings nightclub (at Copford) was also a good night."
Vivienne Goldsmith remembered The Affair and The Andromeda, both in Colchester.
The former, on the corner of Culver Street East and Queen Street, is now a branch of Italian restaurant Prezzo.
It is described online as "once the coolest and cosiest, nightclub in town."

Smd Woodcraft plumped for The Embassy Suite, on Balkerne Hill, while Mand Prior has fond memories of L’Aristos, in Colchester.
She said: "It was very good back in the day, with £1 drinks (back when I could handle my alcohol). I had a few good nights out in that place."
Clive Taylor said he enjoyed his nights at The Barn, in Braintree, in the late 1970s.
