A NEW gourmet burger takeaway restaurant will open in Colchester on Wednesday, it has been confirmed.
The Flag Burger will open its doors for the first time inside premises in Church Street.
The business was set up by events company staff and has been running for some time based out of a trailer outside The Flag pub in Wivenhoe.
However, service has stopped, at least for now, out of the Colchester Road based trailer in preparation for the Colchester opening on Wednesday.
Opening hours at the new premises will be extended to Monday to Saturday.

Delivery is available across Colchester as well as to Stanway, Wivenhoe and Elmstead.
As a thank you to Wivenhoe customers delivery to the town will be free of charge for the first month.
