WITH the weekend underway, we have listed the top rated Chinese takeaways in Colchester to put your cravings for crispy duck and prawn crackers at bay.
Government restrictions are still preventing us from eating inside restaurants for the time being, but there are still plenty of places to order Chinese take out from.

More than 1,400 customers have written reviews on Just Eat about their experience with the venue.

The town centre establishment is rated 5.14 stars out of 6.
A total of 125 people have reviewed the restaurant.
Delivery is available 5.40pm, and collection is not available.
One recent review said: "The delivery driver was very polite, professional and so kind. Great work."
3. Chinatown Colchester, in Osbourne Street
The Chinese and Thai restaurant has a 5.07 star rating on Just Eat.
More than 530 people have reviewed the venue.
Delivery starts from 6pm, collection is not available and there is a £2 delivery charge.
A review made this week said: "First time using this restaurant and we were very happy with the overall service.
"The food was very fresh and arrived nice and hot.
"We will definitely be ordering from here again in the future."
4. Fai's Oriental, St Botolph's Street
The popular venue is rated 4.99 stars out of 6 and boast 3,700 customer reviews.
Delivery starts from 4.45pm and collection is available.
There is a £1.50 delivery charge for customers.
A recent review said: "Always good food, and great service (always willing to edit a dish), definitely my preferred place for a Chinese."
5. Noodle Zone, in Crouch Street
This Chinese and Malaysian eatery is rated 4.95 stars on Just Eat.
There are 936 reviews on the website, and delivery is available from 4.15pm for a £1 delivery fee.
