AN inquest has opened into the death of a teenager.
Elliot Willis, 15, was discovered on Friday, March 5, at home in Great Oakley.
An Essex Police spokesman confirmed his death was not being treated as suspicious and a file was prepared for the coroner.
An inquest into his death opened at Chelmsford Coroner’s Court this morning.
Sean Horstead, area coroner, said: “The provisional information I have been provided with is that Elliot Rufus Willis was a 15-year-old boy who lived at home with his family and was found in his bedroom.
“This is a case that has been subject to a post mortem examination but a toxicological report is awaited.
“In those circumstances I formally open the inquest and I adjourn the final hearing to the provisional date of August 17.”
