A WOMAN has been charged with drink driving following an incident near Halstead.
Geraldine Hemsley, of Braintree Road, Shalford, has been charged in connection with an incident on Sunday, March 7.
Officers say they were called to reports of someone driving "erratically" at around 5pm.
After finding the vehicle parked at an address, a 60-year-old woman was arrested.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "A woman has been charged with drink driving in connection with an incident in Braintree.
"We were called to reports of a vehicle being driven erratically in the Braintree area around 5pm on Sunday, March 7.
"Officers attended and found the vehicle parked at an address.
"A 60-year-old woman was arrested.
"Geraldine Hemsley, of Braintree Road, Shalford, has now been charged with drink driving and is due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 10 April."
