FIVE parts of Colchester have recorded less than five Covid cases in the space of a week, the latest figures reveal.
A map, compiled using Government data, shows the number of coronavirus cases in each part of Colchester.
The figures, from the seven days to February 27, show five parts of the town have had less than five Covid cases.
The lowest number of cases was recorded in Horkesley Heath, Langham and Dedham, where there were less than three.
Both West Mersea and Abbey Field recorded just three cases.
Four cases were recorded in Layer-de-la-Haye, Abberton and Mersea East as well as Wivenhoe and University over this period.
A total of 13 areas had less than ten cases in this week.

- West Bergholt & Wormingford - 5
- Layer-de-la-Haye, Abberton & Mersea East - 4
- Wivenhoe & University - 4
- West Mersea - 3
- Abbey Field - 3
- Horkesley Heath, Langham & Dedham - less than 3
The borough's average Covid infection rate also continues to fall.

According to the latest figures, from the seven days February 28, the infection rate in Colchester was 82.7 cases per 100,000 people.
There were 161 cases of the virus in this week.
The rate is down from 102.2 cases per 100,000 people a week earlier.
Tendring's infection rate is now lower than Colchester's.
It is 80.5 cases per 100,000 people, down from 113.3 cases per 100,000 people a week earlier.
Lockdown restrictions are set to be eased in the England on Monday, with schools reopening to all pupils.
Health Secretary Matt Hancock is set to lead a Downing Street press briefing on coronavirus on Friday evening, it has been announced.
