These are the details of the drink and drug drivers named and shamed in court last week.

Here is a round-up of offenders caught on our roads in Colchester and Tendring and put before magistrates.

MATTHEW FLETCHER

Aged 34, of New Town Road, Colchester, admitted drug driving in Cowdray Avenue, Colchester, on June 19, 2020. Tested positive for Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol in the blood, namely 3.1mcg of analyte per litre of blood. Banned from driving for 18 months, ordered to pay £305 in fines and prosecution costs.

CHINEDU OSADEBE

Aged 22, of Barn Hall Avenue, Colchester, admitted drink driving in an Audi A3 in Barn Hall Avenue on December 23, 2020. Tested positive for 91mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mcg. Banned from driving for 23 months, ordered to pay £259 in court costs and fines.

ETHAN HARVEY 

Aged 20, of Glebe View, West Mersea, admitted drug driving in Port Lane, Colchester, on July 7, 2020. Tested positive for Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol in the blood, namely 4.4mcg per litre of blood. Banned from driving for one year and ordered to pay £225 in fines and prosecution costs. 

CRAIG DAVENPORT 

Aged 42, of Carisbrooke Avenue, Great Clacton, admitted drug driving in Oatlands Road, Elmstead Market, on July 5, 2020. Tested positive for 93mcg of cocaine per litre of blood. Banned from the roads for 36 months and ordered to pay £285 in fines and prosecution costs. 

MATTHEW GELDING

Aged 46, of Kensington Road, Colchester, admitted drink driving in Hythe Quay on December 21, 2020. Tested positive for 58mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath. Banned from the roads for 15 months and ordered to pay £185 in fines and prosecution costs.

MARC DAVIES

Aged 38, Whitegate Road, Southend, admitted drug driving in Turner Road, Colchester, on June 22, 2020. Tested positive for 375mcg of Benzoylecgonine - a cocaine metabolite - per litre of blood. Banned from the roads for five years and sentenced to a community order. Must complete 200 hours of unpaid work and a 20-day rehabilitation activity requirement.
