ONE part of Colchester has recorded almost no Covid cases in the space of a week.

According to the latest Government figures, from the seven days to February 26, there were less than three Covid cases in Horkesley Heath, Langham and Dedham during this period.

This puts it in the lowest category on the Government's hotspot map, suggesting the virus is "suppressed" in this part of the borough, for now at least.

Parson's Heath had the highest number of cases in this period with 29, almost double second on the list Stanway's 15.

A total of 12 parts of Colchester recorded less than ten cases in this week, compared with eight recorded ten or more.
