More than 1,200 properties hit by power cut in Brighouse, Northern Powergrid confirms
A POWER CUT has left more than 1,200 properties in Brighouse without electricity this morning.
Northern Powergrid revealed that 1,230 premises in the HD6 and HX5 areas were hit by unexpected outages earlier today.
It tweeted that it estimates power will be restored by 10am today.
Northern Powergrid added it normally restores power to 90 per cent of its customers in around 90 minutes.
