The coastguard has warned visitors to stay away from the edge of crumbling cliffs at a Sussex beauty spot.
Crews have shared images of a huge crack in the white rock face at Birling Gap this week and urged people travelling to the area to stay safe.
A spokesman for Birling Gap coastguard said:"We would kindly like to remind people of the dangers around cliff edges.
"When on the top of a cliff, it may not be visible that the cliff is, in fact, crumbling. The image below was taken from the beach below Belle tout.

"Please keep well back from cliff edges and bases. In a coastal emergency dial 999 and ask for the coastguard."
There were plenty of visitors to Birling Gap over the weekend as Sussex enjoyed a spell of warmer weather, with some breaching lockdown restrictions to travel to the cliffs.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: "We’ve had people both from within and outside of Sussex driving around without a valid reason.

"Some were drawn to beauty spots like Beachy Head, travelling from Crawley and Portsmouth to exercise along the seafront.
"...These were just some of the 258 fines issued this weekend."
