DRIVERS can expect delays for another two weeks.
Preparations are being made to renew the traffic light signals at the junction of Drury Road, Maldon Road, and Shrub End, in Colchester.
The works started on Monday, February 15 and they are expected to run until March 12.
An Essex Highways spokesman said: "We will be replacing the traffic signals at the junction before they become unreliable and fail to work properly and will be installing new extra low voltage equipment, which will help reduce our carbon footprint.
"The pedestrian facilities will also be upgraded from far side to near side."
