A road in a village is blocked due to a vehicle stuck on the ice.
Cage Lane, Boxted, is blocked this morning due to the incident.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area if possible.
Wednesday night was the coldest night for a decade for many parts of Essex, with temperatures dropping as low as -14c in some parts of the county.

This has led to hugely treacherous conditions on the roads and drivers must take extra caution.
Essex Highways has warned drivers only to take to the roads if absolutely necessary.
