A series of stunning aerial pictures have shown Colchester covered in a blanket of snow.
Daytime temperatures have also dropped below 0c in Essex in recent days.
The county has seen up to 25 and 30cm of snow in places in recent days, with Clacton the worst hit.
But most areas have seen several centimetres of the white stuff in recent days.
It has resulted in emergency school closures, Covid test centres closing and delays to rubbish and recycling collections.
Vaccination centres in Clacton and Colchester remained closed today due to the severe weather.
They are set to reopen later this week.

Storm Darcy has brought havoc to many parts of the country, with police in parts of Suffolk, Norfolk and Essex on Monday advising against driving as roads became “impassable” due to settled snow.
National Rail warned services in various parts of the country were likely to be affected, train operator Southern Rail announced service cancellations in south-east London, while networks in Kent and Essex also closed lines.
