Charge after attack which left man with serious head injuries
A man has been charged in connection with an assault in Colchester where a man was left with head injuries.
Police were called to an address in Southway at around 10.30pm on Friday (February 5) and found a man in his 40s with four deep lacerations to his head.
A 39 year-old man was arrested at the scene.
Dean Middler, of Hunting Gate, Colchester, has now been charged with GBH with intent.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Colchester Magistrates’ Court on Monday 8 February.
