AN air ambulance landed at Old Heath Recreation ground this morning after a man was injured in a fall.
The air ambulance was seen at the ground shortly after 9am today.
A spokesman from the East of England ambulance service said: "We were called to a path off Saw Mill Road shortly after 9am today after receiving reports that a man had been injured in a fall.

"We sent an ambulance, our hazardous area response team and the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance.
"Crews treated a male patient at the scene before transporting him by road to Colchester Hospital for further assessment and care."
