LITTLE Clara Elodie Brewer is a true lockdown baby.
Mum Lucy Holby found out she was pregnant at the beginning of the Covid pandemic, last March.
And following the strict instructions of Prime Minister Boris Johnson, her newborn stayed 'home', where she obviously felt happy and safe, until making her belated entrance into the world when the second national lockdown finished in December.
This was despite being due on November 21.
Lucy, 38, said: "Clara was eventually born at Colchester Hospital on December 6.
"It's funny how the pregnancy spanned the start of one lockdown to the end of the second.
"She was obviously very happy where she was, despite being due in November.
"The midwives at the hospital were fantastic and we're all enjoying having a new member of our family.
"Clara has been keeping my 13-year-old daughter, Poppy, company while she's home schooling. She's in year eight at St Benedicts.
"I also have a 15-year-old, Elsie in year 11."
Lucy, partner Scott Brewer and their family live in Shrub End.
