POLICE are on the hunt for witnesses after theft abduction of two peacocks.
Officers say the theft occurred in between 7pm on Wednesday, January 27 and 8am on Friday, January 29.
The pair were taken from an enclosure in the garden of a property on Stanstead Road, Long Melford.
Now officers with Suffolk Police are appealing for anyone with information or witnesses to come forward.
A spokesman said: "The birds, one male and one female, were both approximately nine-months-old.
"Anyone with any information about this incident or who saw anything suspicious should contact Suffolk police, quoting crime reference number: 37/5167/21"
