Collections delayed due to "high volumes" of recycling
HIGH volumes of Christmas and New Year recycling means some collections have been delayed.
Colchester Council said its crews were working hard to collect as much as they could each day.
Anything not taken by the evening will be collected the following morning instead.
In a Tweet the council said: "Due to high volumes of Christmas and New Year recycling, some delays to collections are expected.
"Our crews are working hard to collect as much as they can each day.
"Anything not taken by the evening will be collected the following morning instead.
"Thank you for all your recycling efforts and sorry for any inconvenience."
