Colchester Hospital gets cash to prepare for second wave of coronavirus
A FURTHER 12 coronavirus patients have died at the trust which runs Colchester.
The latest NHS England figures from today show there have been a total of 586 Covid-19 related deaths at the East Suffolk and North Essex Trust, which runs Colchester and Ipswich Hospitals.
This is an increase of 12 from yesterday.
There were 35 deaths of coronavirus patients at the trust between December 29 and January 4.
Another 11 deaths have been announced today at the Basildon and Thurrock University Hospitals Trust, 16 at Mid Essex Hospitals Trust and one more at Southend University Hospitals Trust.
Across England a further 582 patients have died inside the country's hospitals.
