Teenage pedestrian suffers serious injuries after being hit by BMW
DETECTIVES are appealing for witnesses after a teenager was left with serious injuries after being hit by a BMW on a busy road in Colchester.
The incident took place at around 8.40am on Monday, December 14, outside Mill Road Sports Ground, in Mill Road.
The teenage boy suffered serious injuries but they are not life-threatening or life-changing.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: "Witnesses to the collision or anyone with dash cam or CCTV footage are asked to contact PS David Nichols at Stanway Roads Policing Unit by calling 101 or via email david.nichols@essex.police.uk, quoting incident 215 of 14 December."
