'MAGIC mushrooms' imported into the UK have been seized by police in Southend.
Psilocin, commonly known as Magic Mushrooms, was seized by officers as part of two warrants in the town yesterday.
Three people have been arrested, and remain in custody today, Essex Police confirmed.

A spokesman from the force, said: "Officers from the community policing team executed two warrants in Southend under the Misuse of Drugs Act in relation to the importation of Psilocin (magic mushrooms).
"Two males aged 23 and 26 and a 43 year old female have been arrested and remain in custody for questioning."
