BUSINESSES across the Braintree district are being offered the chance to secure a fully-funded e-commerce website.

As part of the Braintree Council's economic recovery plans, the council has partnered with LOCALIQ to offer ten businesses free e-commerce website set ups over the coming weeks.

This will allow businesses to adapt their existing business models in light of the new lockdown regulations and look towards recovery from the coronavirus crisis.

All hospitality and retail businesses are invited to apply.

Applications will be assessed on the support need and the impact the e-commerce website will have in sustaining the business.

The ten businesses who show the greatest need will receive a fully-funded e-commerce website.

All additional applicants will receive a fully-funded training course on how to set up an e-commerce website.

Application are open until 3pm on Friday, November 20.

To apply for the scheme, all you need to do is fill out a form online.

You will need:

  • Information about your business
  • Information about your products

Applicants must not currently have an eCommerce website
