A NURSERY has been named one of the best in the region by parents.

Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery in Villa Road, Stanway, were close to the top of the charts for the eastern region according to reviews left on daynurseries.co.uk.

They were graded on overall standard, facilities and outside space, learning, resources and equipment and ICT, care, activities, staff, food and nutrition, management, cleanliness, safeguarding as well as value for money.

Director Manjit Sandhu said: "We are extremely proud and delighted that we have been recognised as a top 20 day nursery in the UK.

"It is even more rewarding we have received this award based on our parents reviews and when we read the kind words they say about our nursery, it makes us feel extremely proud and privileged to be offering childcare in Colchester.”
