Secret history - Colchester’s Roman wall, captured by Ian Merrick
THIS week’s Camera Club page includes a very special picture emphasising Colchester’s rich Roman history.
Ian Merrick took a photo of the Roman wall, clearly highlighting the secret history entombed within it.
It’s a fabulous, thought-provoking image and there are some other brilliant ones within this week’s spread.
We particularly liked the one above of a greylag goose coming into land early one morning in the Colne Valley. Thanks for the picture Jane Donaghy.
Ray of light - Marion Houlding took this picture of the sunset over Flatford
Surfing the web - Mark Draper spotted this photo opportunity in Sible Hedingham
Mushroom season - Mark Leitch photographed this striking Magpie Ink Cap
Jaunty angle - Paula Wiseman took these photos of boats at Pin Mill
Sweet treat - Peter Beard captured this blue tit flying off with its dinner
