Colchester Half Marathon will not take place in 2021 due to coronavirus
ORGANISERS of a major Colchester sporting event say they won't be looking to organise the event in 2021.
Colchester Half Marathon, which normally raises tens of thousands of pounds for charity, will not take place next year due to the uncertainty caused by coronavirus.
This year's event, set to take place at the end of March, was also curtailed due to the pandemic.
Organisers have said they will use next year to examine other similar sporting events across the globe with a view to returning in 2022.
