A BEAUTY salon is celebrating one year in business and has plans to expand despite the coronavirus pandemic.

Entrepreneur Kirsty Dinnadge opened The Four B's, in Victoria Place, Brightlingsea, on August 31 2019.

The business, which's name stands for Brightlingsea’s Beauty and Botox Boutique, offers skin treatments, botox, fillers and other things in between.

The firm has been forced to adapt in recent months to new coronavirus restrictions, but is still going strong and looking forward to the future.

Kirsty said: "Lockdown and this year in general has been tough for all.

"Small business like mine didn’t know whether we would come out of this surviving.

"However, with the support from my loyal customers and word of mouth from them I have a long waiting list of new clients."

During lockdown Kirsty also welcomed a new arrival at home, with daughter Dakota born.

Despite an ever-growing family she has big plans for the business and hopes to offer new treatments such as skin tag and mole removal and fat dissolving injections.

She said: "Although it was lovely to spend more time with my family, my business is what I am passionate about."

To celebrate the first year of opening Kirsty is running a competition to win a years worth of free treatment.
