MORE than a dozen police officers were called after a man suspected of stealing a suitcase "became agitated."
A video posted on social media showed officers rushing to Osborne Street, Colchester, at 9.20pm on Thursday after a man was arrested on suspicion of theft from a person.
Backup was then called for.
The man was, however, later released without charge.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: "We were called at 9.20pm with reports that a man tried to take a suitcase from a man in his 40s.
"Upon arrest the man became agitated and Officers called for additional help.
"No one was injured."
