TRAINS are not running between Manningtree and Marks Tey after a person was hit by a train.
Passengers have been told to expect delays until 6pm.
Until then services may be cancelled, delayed or revised.
Emergency services are on route to the location.
Greater Anglia said it means London services towards Colchester, Ipswich and Norwich will terminate at Colchester.
Services from Norwich and Ipswich towards Colchester will terminate at Manningtree.
Clacton On Sea and Walton on Naze services will be able to through Colchester and Colchester to Colchester Town services will be able to run.
Buses are being sourced to run between Colchester and Manningtree but there is estimated time for these buses at present.
An further update is expected within the next 1 hour.
