A MAN has been convicted of damaging property owned by a Barrow hotel.
Gerald James Masterson, did not attend court after damaging glass pane in a red telephone box at Abbey House Hotel.
South Cumbria Magistrates' Court heard the 40-year-old committed the offence on November 23 and caused £70 of damage.
The defendant, of Charlestown Road in Manchester, was sentenced to a fine of £440.
He was also told to pay compensation of £70, a £32 victim surcharge and £85 cost.
