Here are the faces of the people police brought to justice in Colchester and Tendring in May who have received substantial jail sentences at crown court.

DRUG dealer Nathan Barber was caught with £20,000 worth of cocaine and cannabis.

Police raided a house in Ipswich Road, Colchester, and found him with drugs, scales and cash.

Barber, 28, admitted possession with intent to supply class A and class B drugs and possession of a CS spray cannister.

He was jailed for 40 months at Ipswich Crown Court.

TEENAGER Mark Tsveatnov was jailed for 16 months for kicking a man as he lay prone on the floor.

The 19-year-old admitted GBH.

Tsvetanov, of East Stockwell Street, Colchester, left the victim with a bleed on the brain.

  • PAEDOPHILE Anthony Cook was jailed for five years after being convicted of a string of sexual offences against a child.

Cook, 77, admitted three counts of sexual assault and one count of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.

The offences took place at his former home address in Brightlingsea over two-and-a-half years.

The victim bravely spoke out about her abuse.
