All of Greater Anglia's services have been delayed or cancelled this afternoon after a person was hit by a train.
Trains to and from Southend have either been delayed, altered, or cancelled this afternoon and this evening after a person was hit by a train between Chadwell Heath and Gidea Park, near Romford Station.
All other Greater Anglia services between Liverpool Street and elsewhere have been affected, with services to and from Shenfield now underway again after all services were previously suspended.
Greater Anglia tweeted: "Sadly due to a person hit by a train between Chadwell Heath and Gidea Park all lines are blocked.
"Train services running through these stations may be cancelled, delayed or revised. Disruption is expected until further notice."
