IT was 20 years ago when Glenn Hoddle’s Southampton team finished their season with a 2-0 win against Wimbledon.
Two superb goals through Wayne Bridge and Marian Pahars ensured relegation for The Dons after 14 years in the top flight.
Saints finished 15th in the Premier League that season on 44 points.
At the end of the match these pictures were taken of the crowd.
Then-club secretary Brian Truscott said: “As usual our supporters were magnificent.
“They gave the side tremendous backing through the season.”
