Owner - Minar Miah has decided to donate food to Colchester Hospital to support staff members
AN Indian restaurant will be giving away 150 free meals to support “hard-working” NHS staff members.
Minar Miah, owner of the Mogul restaurant, in High Street, Manningtree, said they will donate the meals to Colchester Hospital on Wednesday, May 20.
They will be delivering 100 homemade Bangladeshi chicken biryani with vegetable curry and 50 vegetarian meals to hospital staff members.
The 63-year-old said: “Frontline workers are working really hard at the moment and they are all struggling.
“I feel really great to be able to help them out and do my bit for the community.
“They are hard-working people and they need to know we’re all with them.
“The whole country is with them.”
