An air ambulance landed in Witham after reports of a cardiac arrest.
East Anglian Air Ambulance were called to Collingwood Road, Witham yesterday evening (Wednesday, March 4) after a person suffered a cardiac arrest.
One person was taken to Essex Cardiothoracic Centre in serious condition.
Hazardous Area Response Team, an ambulance officer and two ambulances also attended the scene.
A spokesperson from East of England Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 4.46pm yesterday with reports of a cardiac arrest in Collingwood Road, Witham.
"We send East Anglian Air Ambulance, the Hazardous Area Response Team, an ambulance officer and two ambulances.
"One person was taken to Essex Cardiothoracic Centre in a serious condition."
