A WEATHER warning for snow has been issued for Bradford for tonight.

Sleet showers are expected to hit Bradford initially at 10pm with temperatures set to plunge to 2C, according to the Met Office.

Light snow and sleet showers will continue between 3am and 8am tomorrow, which may cause rush hour traffic problems.

Sunny spells will arrive tomorrow morning with it expected to stay dry.

Wintry showers and icy stretches are likely to bring some travel disruption across the UK tonight.

As a result some roads and railways are likely to be affected with longer journey times by road, bus and train services. Some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces may occur.

There will probably some icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths There are additional yellow weather warnings for Bradford for both this Friday and Saturday.
