A surgery which was closed after a potential Coronavirus scare is set to reopen again this afternoon.
Rowhedge Surgery, in Rectory Road, hopes to reopen again at around 3pm today following its closure yesterday.
The surgery was closed as a precaution following a potential Coronavirus incident at the doctors.
The surgery said on its website: "Due to a potential case of Coronavirus presenting at the surgery the Rowhedge Practice is currently closed.
"We are hoping to be open by 3pm today but in the mean time we are still contactable on the telephone and are offering a telephone triage service if you feel you need to speak to a clinician."
Mersea Island Medical Practice, which is part of the same group, also closed for similar reasons on Tuesday.
It is hoped both surgeries will be back open again soon.
Update 1.40pm:
Rowhedge Surgery has now reopened to the public.
Mersea Island Medical Practice hopes to be open again by 4pm this afternoon.
