COLCHESTER Zoo is increasing the price of its annual passes for the first time in two years.
From April 4 a yearly adult Gold Pass will cost £69, up from £65.99, and a children's pass will cost £49, up from £45.99.
A senior ticket for those over 60 will cost £59, up from £55.99.
But if you already own a pass there's a way to avoid paying the increase - and even get extra discount on next year's ticket.
Existing zoo pass holders can renew their passes early in order to avoid the price increase and they'll also receive 15 per cent consecutive renewal discount.
This means a renewal could cost you around £39 for a child and £56 for an adult.
To purchase a Gold Pass, visit colchester-zoo.com or call 01206 331292 extension 228, 230 or 235.
