THE founder of indie band The Fireflys is set to release an album as part of new duo.
Runcorn vocalist and songwriter, Lee Wylding, has formed The Far North with his long-time collaborator, Andie Packer.
Lee, who is best known for being the frontman of The Fireflys, is working with Nigel Stonier for the duo’s upcoming debut album, entitled Songs For Gentle Souls.
The Far North’s LP will be released in the coming months.
Describing their music as somewhere between Bruce Springsteen and Neil Young, the band predominately use acoustic guitars, vocals and drums.
They will be playing Old Trafford Stadium on March 8 live on MUTV.
