SOUTHEND Manor climbed up to 15th place in the Essex Senior League standings by sealing a 1-1 draw with Clapton.
Manor were in the away team dressing room as they went head-to-head with Clapton, who groundshare at Southchurch Park.
Manor raced into a fifth minute lead as Harry Rogers broke into the penalty area before cleverly chipping beyond the Clapton goalkeeper.
Craig Waters' side created more chances, with Ben Allen striking the crossbar, and they were made to pay for not finding the back of the net for a second time.
Clapton snatched a share of the spoils by grabbing an equaliser in the dying moments.
