Mapped: Every crime reported in Colchester in one month
Crime hotspots across the town have been revealed in data published by the Police.UK website.
It shows there were 1, 713 crimes reported in December last year.
December is the latest data available.
In Colchester Town 387 crimes were reported in the month. Of these 123 were violent or sexual offences.
During the same month Highwoods, Mile End and St John’s had 269 crimes reported.
The highest recorded was violent or sexual offences with 124 reported.
The area of St Andrew’s and St Anne’s saw 188 crimes reported in December.
