Two teenagers have been arrested in connection to nine incidents of criminal damage.
Officers have been investigating several reports of objects, described as bricks or rocks, being thrown at vehicles and buildings in various locations in Tiptree.
Two 14-year-old boys from Colchester have been arrested on suspicion of nine counts of criminal damage which took place between January 6 and February 3.
One of the teenagers has also been arrested on suspicion of assault and harassment.
The other boy has been arrested on suspicion of assault in addition to criminal damage.
They remain in police custody while enquiries are ongoing.
