A WOMAN has been fined for assaulting police officers.
The officers were called to Clarendon Way, Colchester, following reports of a disturbance.
They discovered Tracey Jennings nearby who admitted she had been drinking and taken pills.
When they attempted to speak to her, she swung her arms out at them.
While they tried to restrain her she kicked out several times.
Jennings, 49, of Clarendon Way, admitted two counts of assaulting an emergency worker at Colchester Magistrates’ Court.
She must pay £50 to each officer, an £80 fine, costs of £145 and a £32 victim surcharge.
