Passengers are facing delays to services in and out of Liverpool Street after a train broke down.
Greater Anglia is in the process of evacuating passengers off the stranded 7.40am Norwich to Liverpool Street train.
It broke down between Forest Gate and Stratford this morning causing disruption to services in and out of Liverpool Street.
One out of the two lines towards Stratford is currently blocked, Greater Anglia services are being diverted on to another line around the faulty train.
All services using the main line into Liverpool Street are subject to delays, cancellations and alterations.
In a Tweet Greater Anglia said: "07:40 Norwich to Liverpool St has broken down earlier due to power problems. The train is unable to move.
"A rescue Loco is needed to move the train. Currently a rescue train is alongside the broken down train evacuating passengers to take them to Liverpool Street."
Disruption is expected until further notice.
