A PAIR have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery.
Two people have been arrested linked to an incident in Harwich on Wednesday (January 22).
Police were called to West Street at about 7pm with reports that a man had been injured with a knife and had cash stolen.
Officers arrived at the scene and a man in his 30s was treated for minor injuries.
A 22-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman, both from the Harwich area, were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery.
An East of England Ambulance spokesman said: "We were called at 7.11pm with reports of an assault in West Street, Harwich.
"We were not required to transport anyone to hospital."
An Essex Police spokesman said: "They have been released under investigation while enquiries continue to establish what happened."
