DONCASTER Rovers are interested in signing Southend United striker Stephen Humphrys, Echosport understands.
Humphrys - who joined Blues from Fulham in January 2019 - kept the Shrimpers in League One last term by scoring a late winner on the final day of the season against Sunderland.
But he is now wanted by Rovers who sit ninth in the League One standings.
Humphrys,22, started the season strongly and scored five goals in his first nine appearances of the season.
However, the striker has not hit the back of the net since September and missed Saturday's 2-1 win at Accrington Stanley due to an illness.
Blues' next match is at Doncaster Rovers, a week on Tuesday.
