MUSIC fans have had their say on who they would like to see play at Bradford Live.

The new music venue is set to open on the site of the former Odeon cinema next year.

But debate is raging on social media on who fans would like to see perform there once it opens.

The Bradford Live twitter carried a call-out for which artists should play.

It generated a mixture of responses, with an eclectic group of artists.

Singers or bands with Bradford district connections proved popular choices.

Bradford-born Zayn Malik, Embrace, the Kaiser Chiefs and James, featuring Bradford-born lead singer Tim Booth were all suggested.

Others from further afield were also urged to take to the stage including Manic Street Preachers and even Bruce Springsteen.

Other suggestions did not appear so likely including a Pink Floyd reunion and the Spice Girls. An Oasis reunion gig was also mooted by Bradford Bid manager Jonny Noble.

Some chose not to take it quite so seriously with one person opting for Elvis Presley.

But who would be your choice?
