IT will be a weekend of two halves as heavy rain on Saturday makes way for a drier and sunnier Sunday.

No weather warnings are in place for Bradford this weekend, according to the Met Office.

Friday Today will be dry but colder than earlier in the week.

The blue skies and sunshine will continue throughout the day with a dry night in prospect. Day temperatures will only reach 4C, with another cold night expected as the mercury plunges down to 1C.

Gales will continue across higher ground in Yorkshire and the North East on Friday night and Saturday Saturday It can be summed up as a bring a brolley day.

After a dry but cloudy morning, the rain is set to reach Bradford by 2pm and get heavier by 4pm and not relent until around 3am on Sunday.

Saturday’s temperatures are expected to reach a maximum of 11C.

It will be a mild night on Saturday with temperatures on falling to 7C by 6am on Sunday, but mostly 9C overnight.

Sunday Sunday will be a much brighter day and will make up for Saturday.

But it will get off to a cloudy start with the sun bursting through by 9am with a slight chance of the odd shower around noon.

Temperatures will reach a high of 7Cduring the day, dropping off to 4C overnight on Sunday night/Monday morning.
